The Athenaeum Learning Center is a non-profit school serving children from Pre-K through Grade 8. We are currently seeking applicants interested in fulfilling the role of Treasurer on our Board of Directors.
The Treasurer of the Board will be expected to fulfill the following requirements:
Represents the Athenaeum Learning Center in the community through both business and personal relationships
Serves a three-year term, with the possibility of re-election
Attends meetings three times a year
Provides financial management and oversight, helping to plan out and ensure the long-term health of the organization
Works with the Head of School to provide an annual budget for Board Members’ approval
Participates in fundraising
The ideal candidate has experience with accounting, organizational budgeting, and nonprofit organizations.
