After-School Programs - 2017-18
Our After-School classes are designed to open our innovative, creative, STEAM-based programming up to the community. Our Winter II session starts on February 26th and runs through April 13th. Children are always welcome to try a class before registering.
Please fill out and submit our class registration form, and then either email it to firstname.lastname@example.org, or mail it to 15 Columbia Road, Pembroke MA 02359. If you are emailing this form, please make sure to save it to your computer after filling out, and attach the saved version to your email. You will be sent an e-invoice, which can be paid either online by credit card or bank transfer, or in person by check or cash. Financial aid and payment plans are available.
Lego Robotics (3rd-7th grades)
Students will learn to build and program their very own robots. Students who took the Fall session will be competing in First Lego League competitions, while newer students will be learning the ropes. This class runs through the entire school year, so students who are interested in joining next Fall's 1st Lego League team should consider starting now! Teacher Anna Majeed is an MIT graduate and mom of three with a passion for getting kids of all ages excited about science while having fun.

Stories and STEM (K-3rd grade)
Can we help the three little pigs build a stronger house to withstand the big bad wolf? Can we use a robot to lend a hand to the little old lady who swallowed a fly? Through stories, picture books, play, songs, science experiments, activities, and challenges, we will explore a variety of topics in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Possible topics include outer space, animal tracks, electricity and circuits, and recycling. Tuesdays, February 27th-April 10th, 3:30-4:30 - $80
Yoga (K-3rd grade)
Stretch your sillies out in this fun, holistic class that incorporates arts and crafts, music and movement, and relaxing yoga exercises. Teacher Danielle McKenna is a licensed Yoga teacher and homeschooling mom who enjoys making the ancient practice of yoga fun for kids.
Wednesdays, February 28th-April 11th, 3:30-4:30 - $80
Adventures in Art (K-5th grade)
Students will study art and artists, design and function in this hands-on class that teaches technique and theory while encouraging each child's intrinsic curiosity. Students will use all manner of medium, and should dress to get messy. Teacher Danae Fuller is a licensed elementary teacher and mother of three who teaches group classes around the South Shore.

Game Play (1st-8th grade)
Pokemon! Minecraft! Magic: The Gathering! Board Games! Dungeons & Dragons! Come for an afternoon of fun and games, hosted by our resident Game Mavens. Minecraft play during this class is based around a specific building or engineering challenge, and to ensure that everyone has a chance to participate, students will be assigned to play Minecraft for either the first or the second hour.
