Summer Vacation Programs

Our summer programs are STEAM-themed, taught by our staff of professional educators, and encourage cooperation, hands-on learning, and play.  Students play and learn both indoors and out, and every day is different.  We offer both two "summer terms," which include academic enrichment and tutoring for students from 4 years through 7th grade, and weekly themed programs that center on STEAM topics.  Although we encourage families to register for an entire themed week, daily drop-in options are available.

Although each week has a different theme, students participate in a variety of different activities, projects, and games throughout the day.  Some of these activities might include working in our organic vegetable garden, building a Lego robot, building a fort in our Forest Classroom, taking a yoga class, handcrafts, participating in an engineering competition, learning to identify animal tracks, and so much more.  Every day is unique, and we frequently build projects and class ideas around the interests of the students who have enrolled for the week.

 Weekly Summer Vacation Programs, 2018

Our weekly vacation programs offer greater flexibility, with less emphasis on formal academic enrichment.  Activities and projects are generally STEAM-based, and students spend ample time in free and organized play.
